As reported in The Moorestown Sun, Perkins Center for the Arts hosted its Small Works Show and Sale through December 18, 2021. Artworks included blown and fused glass, ceramic, wood pieces and figurative sculptures. Christmas ornaments, oil paintings and fiber art were also available for purchase.
The opportunity to reach community members, let them know Perkins Center for the Arts has a gallery shop and to expose 30 artists to the community was a winner. The cash-and-carry market enabled artists to bring smaller versions of their works at lower price points to sell for the holidays as gift-giving ideas.
The Small Works Show was especially welcome as artists were face to face with the public, and supporters of the arts, where they could talk about their work and discuss the mediums and their process with interested parties.
