In her role as Director of Haddon Township, New Jersey’s Business Improvement District (HTBID), Kate Burns works tirelessly to promote all the Township has to offer. She pounds the pavement daily to encourage participation, promote volunteerism, and ignite community pride and spirit. Kate engages directly with each and every small business owner, as well as actively encouraging new businesses to make Haddon Township their home. She is unstoppable, and the results speak volumes. Haddon Township was voted as one of the top 20 towns in which to live, work, or play by South Jersey Magazine, and one of the many reasons why Kate Burns was chosen as the Winner of the 2024 Downtown New Jersey Downtown Excellence Award in the category of Individual of Excellence.
